✨1st Place Winner Announcement✨
We’re excited to announce Varruna Mitra of EDG Design as the 1st Place winner this year’s Design with Designology Palette Competition!
Among a field of strong submissions, this palette rose to the top with unanimous praise from all three judges. They liked the tight color palette and appreciated the strong use of texture and the overall sense of balance.. They also loved the composition as a whole and how details such as the carpet and plant pulled everything together well.
Varruna’s submission demonstrates a refined eye for cohesion, where every element works in harmony to create a composition that feels both intentional and complete.

We’re excited to introduce the first judge for Design With Designology 2026 👏
Meet Deborah (Debi) Fuller.
With more than four decades of experience in the design industry, Debi brings a depth of knowledge that spans from high-end residential projects to large-scale corporate headquarters. Her career reflects not only technical expertise, but a lasting commitment to the evolution of design.
Later in her journey, Debi followed a passion for education by earning her MFA from the University of North Texas and stepping into a role where she could shape the next generation of designers. She currently serves as Lead Professor at Collin College, where she has been teaching and mentoring students for over five years.
Known for her integrity, creativity, and dedication to her students, Debi’s approach to design education is as impactful as her professional work. She leads with purpose, inspires with experience, and continues to leave a meaningful mark on the industry.
We’re honored to have her perspective and expertise as part of this year’s judging panel. Stay tuned as we introduce more of our 2026 judges.
