Zachy's Fight

This past weekend was five long years in the making. You see, the thing about cancer is that it alters the patients life in more ways than you think, down to the water that you can get into. When he has his port put in that ended all lake activities due to what may be in the water and cause an infection in his port line. So our boat was put up and not used for five years, in that time life went on and he beat cancer. So here we are and here he is almost FIVE YEARS after being diagnosed in the lake!! We traded in our "old" boat with many family memories for a new one to make so many more family and friend memories!!! He had a blast this weekend and cannot wait to go back out for more fun in the sun!!!! So happy for this "normal"!

His very first time to camp and then when he left on Sunday. How time flies and what 4 years can do! Such a strong kid he is to take this camp adventure all by himself this year. Love and miss him!
