That’s my son! Being selected as MVP of his age group at Clayton Kershaw baseball camp hosted by Mercy Street Sports was such a proud moment! Thank you A.A Visualz for capturing the moment and making his autographed baseball even more legitimate, framing this picture asap!

🚨Balloon Oxidation🚨

Balloon oxidation happens when latex balloons are exposed to UV light produced by the sun. The latex will react by breaking down, lose their shine and instead gain a velvet sheen.

When balloons have been exposed to the air and sunshine they will oxidize. Depending on how warm or sunny it is, along with humidity, oxidation can happen really fast.

Oxidation will happen at a faster pace even while balloons are indoor if they’re near a window with direct sunlight.

Every balloon color and every balloon finish oxidizes differently. We recommend using lighter colors when doing outdoor setups as they tend to do better in the heat.

While some customers may prefer the “matte” look that happens with oxidation, other customers prefer to keep the intended bright color original to the balloon. In order to achieve this, balloon shine can be used to maintain a glossy finish.

Balloon shine is an additional cost and balloons should not be placed under direct sunlight because they will pop due to the higher temperatures and oily nature of the balloon shine. Any balloon setup that has balloon shine should be kept in a shaded area at all times. Balloons will be oily to the touch, therefore it is recommended that they be left alone and not touched.

We don’t recommend that balloons be set up in exposed sunny areas where temperatures are above 80 degrees as balloon popping is possible. The higher the temperature the higher the probability of balloons popping within hours of setup.

Because oxidation is inevitable, we recommend indoor setups in an air conditioned room away from windows. In this setting, balloons can last from a few days to even weeks. ✨
