Why should recordings of meetings, interviews, classes and videos be transcribed?

Because the transcribed documents will contain everything that was said by everyone in the room. When we try to listen and take notes without the recording...let’s be honest the shorthand notes may or may not make sense.

As an experienced transcriptionist I welcome the challenge of typing as fast as the parties are speaking.

Over the years I have transcribed the lectures of a Holocaust Survivor, which became his memoirs; forensic interviews, phone conference recordings, police videos and interviews.
