Five years…..

Five years of laughs.
Five years of tears.
Five years of failing and trying again.
Five years of driving like a bat out of hell in the middle of the night because she feels re**al pressure. (IYKYK)
Five years of having the honor and privilege of calling myself a midwife.

There’s still nothing I rather do. Thank you to all the families that allowed me into their birth space, who trusted me to walk them through their grief and who ever encouraged me when I doubted I’d ever get here.

After attending two births in two days all I wanted to celebrate the new little bundles of joy was some seafood. It hit the spot. Now to sleep before the next little one decides to make his debut. thank you for making delicious food
