Would you pay $50 to save hours of your time?
That question came up in a conversation with my daughter recently… and it turned into something much bigger.
In this month’s newsletter 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 , I’m sharing:

Executive presence isn’t just how you show up in a meeting.
It’s how you show up everywhere, especially online.
We tend to think of executive presence as how we carry ourselves in a room.
How we speak.
How we lead a conversation or present on a Zoom call.
But one piece that gets overlooked way too often is your digital presence.
Your digital presence is everything you do online that tells the story of who you are as a professional.
And yes, it’s part of your executive presence whether you like it or not.
That includes:
– What you post
– What you comment on (and how you comment)
– The tone in your DMs
– How you show up on Zoom—camera on or off, distracted or present
– Your consistency across platforms
I’ve seen people complain about recruiters online while applying for jobs.
And I’ve worked with execs who looked polished on paper with a strong resume and solid LinkedIn, but their online activity told a completely different story.
Remember, people are watching.
Hiring leaders. Colleagues. Recruiters.
And it’s never just your profile they’re looking at.
They can see your comments, posts, and engagement.
So if you’re working on building or reinforcing your executive presence for the next phase of your career, don’t just polish your resume and call it a day. Look at the full picture.
Because how you show up online is part of how people experience you as a leader.
Have you ever seen someone’s digital presence totally shift how you viewed them?
Share your thoughts, I’d love to hear what stands out to you.

The way we talk about work is changing.
So why are so many resumes still packed with words that mean... absolutely nothing?
"Passionate."
"Seasoned."
"Results-driven."
What does that even mean anymore?
In 2026, generic buzzwords aren’t cutting it.
Hiring leaders want clear, specific language that actually shows how you work and the impact you make.
