Verity Benefits Group is proud to announce the creation of the Cole Barnes Future Aviator Scholarship, established to support graduating seniors pursuing careers in aviation.
This year, we are honored to award our first scholarship to Austin Carrico of Thomas Nelson High School.
The scholarship was inspired by our son, Cole Barnes, a 2016 graduate of Thomas Nelson High School, who followed his passion for aviation after graduation. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Cole earned his private pilot license, instrument rating, and commercial pilot license, building the foundation for his career in aviation.
Through this scholarship, our family hopes to encourage and support future aviators as they pursue their educational and career goals in the aviation industry.
Congratulations, Austin! We are excited to support your journey and look forward to continuing this scholarship for years to come as we invest in the next generation of aviation professionals.
