Today, in addition to my private practice, I am honored to step into the role of Psychiatry Clerkship Director for the Texas A&M University School of Medicine Dallas campus. I follow in the footsteps of someone who has deeply inspired me - Dr. Sidney Kelt, who was my own clerkship director during medical school. He retired yesterday, leaving a legacy of compassionate and excellent patient care. He set the standard for what it means to be a dedicated psychiatrist and educator. I’m grateful for the impact he’s had on my life and career, and I will strive to continue his legacy by inspiring and educating the next generation of psychiatrists.
