So so proud of Mihaela. She was the one bright spot across the state for dems. She was the only House dem targeted by Abbott that won. And she not only won, but increased her margin of victory over 2022. Our efforts to raise money on behalf of reproductive justice to help Mihaela did exactly what we wanted it to. And we should take pride in that in this otherwise not great day.

We did it, HD-70! I am deeply honored to have earned your vote and your faith in my ability to serve as your State Representative for a second term. This victory belongs to all of us. I want to thank my family, my incredible staff, dedicated supporters, generous donors, and most importantly every single voter who made their voice heard. I’m so grateful for each of you!

As I head back to Austin, I promise to work hard for all of my constituents in HD-70. I will fight tirelessly for public education, reproductive healthcare, community safety, and will continue to work across the aisle to pass legislation that positively impacts our district.
