She serves as a writer and final editor on ASA publications including the State of the States Report, the Patients Guide to CBD, and the Medical Cannabis Access for Pain Treatment report. Her previous work experience was in the Behavioral and Public Health fields working on projects in to***co regulation and substance abuse prevention and treatment. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology.

Shanel Lindsay is the Founder and CEO of Boston-based company, Ardent Life, Inc. Before launching Ardent in 2015, Shanel was a medical ma*****na patient suffering from chronic pain and inflammation caused by an ovarian cyst she developed after having her son. Determined and motivated to find a solution for women and patients like herself, Shanel worked with scientists at MCR Labs on pioneering research into decarboxylation and then invented the NOVA Decarboxylator & Infuser.

Additionally, Shanel is an attorney, cannabis activist, and prominent voice for equity in the industry. Highlights include being the author of the Massachusetts Ma*****na Legalization Initiative (aka Question 4) and appointed by the treasurer twice to the Massachusetts Cannabis Advisory Board. She is also the Co-Founder of Equitable Opportunities NOW! (EON).
