Last year for Thanksgiving, we were living in Texas, Jax (our foster) was still living with us, and we were still in the planning stages of our move to Alabama. Happily, Jax found the perfect family for him before our move!

One thing is still the same. We have a tradition that all dogs get a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving.

This year we will introduce King to our tradition since he is with us for the holidays. He will get his turkey dinner later today. Hopefully he likes it!

And, of course, today was a perfect training opportunity for Bruce Wayne, so he and his owner joined us for lunch with Pearl and Dutch!

He was very curious about the other dogs, and he desperately wanted to meet them. We are teaching him that he doesn’t need to meet every dog he gets close to, and it’s ok to just hang out nearby. He figured things out, and we will be going on more field trips in the coming weeks.

Pearl: Dopamine Box - Day 1.

It all starts here. We are increasing her drive levels so she can withstand pressure for the inevitable correction that will come in the future. We will also be building in multiple ways to reward her when she makes the choices we like. Our goal is to help her be a stronger dog so she can do all the big girl things in life.
