Thank you Bobby, for the music, the memories, and the path you unknowingly sent me on. You didn’t just share songs, you opened spaces where strangers became family and helped build a community rooted in listening, kindness, adventure and the simple magic of being present with one another. As a teenager the Grateful Dead changed my life, showing me music could be loose, curious, joyful & and endlessly human. Hearing you play made me want to pick up a guitar, start a band, chase the same feeling of freedom and connection. In so many ways you’re the reason I started. I was lucky enough to see you play dozens of times, and those moments are forever stitched into who I am. What a long strange trip it’s been. Thanks for the light you brought into the world and for a community that will keep carrying it forward. 💀🌹⚡️
