"Work at not needing approval from anyone and you will be free to be who you really are."
Nachman of Breslov
This is one of the concepts we've learned and practiced at the 4th women workshop-
"AAA women- bringing joy to your life" which took place yesterday night.
Thank you for the amazing women that joined me,
Thank you again for your trust,
I had so much fun with your rare wisdom and Intuition.
Thank you for sharing your deep thoughts with me,
And for this strong women connection that occurs every time miraculously in such a short time.
It fills my heart with joy.
See you soon.

Today is the Holocaust remembrance day (Yom Hashuah) in Israel. This is not another regular day on the calendar. I feel I must teach my kids about this day, because when you think about it you realize that most likely they won't get this information from their teachers in school or any other classes that they're having. I want my older kids to know a little bit about what happen back then and didn't know exactly what to say and how much to share. But,I certainly want them not to skip this important detail in Jewish history. This is part of my history,so this is a part of their history, no matter how much we want to sugar coat life for them. So I found this on line free-animated video on BrainPOP which is an excellent educational resource for many topics. Recommended from 5th grade and up. But you know your kids the best so you might want to watch the video first, and then take a decision if to share and how much to share from it.

The last 3 weeks have been a mixture of Pure Happiness and Deep Sadness for me as well as for my close family.
We had Moments of Joy while my brother got married with his beautiful wife and a few days later Moments of Grief when my grandpa passed away. These turned to Moments of Great Gratitude feelings while my husband surprised me with a huge birthday party with my friends and family 2 month before my actual birthday :)
While around us there are evil things that happened in Tel- Aviv (we had a table at the same time at one of the restaurant at the same location, which we missed because we were late,(Thanks God) and then the attack in Orlando.
All this leads me to wander about how the good and the bad are all part of our journey here.
And also, how helpful it will be if we remember that while we raise our children. We all have different type of "moments" that are part of our parenting way.
I wish all of us to deeply enjoy the happy moments and also embrace the not-so-easy ones and live life fully.
