3 Ways to Practice Self Care Today:
One: Give yourself a hug. Wrap your arms around yourself and hold tight for 20 seconds. You can put on a song, repeat a mantra to yourself, or quietly hum while hugging yourself.
Two: Leave your phone on your desk or a counter and walk outside. Take three deep breaths. If it's warm and sunny and you want to, take off your shoes and "ground" yourself. Tell yourself, "I am here, I am present, I am loved."
Three: Write with pen/ink/pencil on a piece of paper your favorite inspirational quote. If you want to, add some doodles or stickers. Cut it out and tape it to your bathroom mirror.
Self-care doesn't have to be expensive, it doesn't have to take hours, and it doesn't have to be super intense. Self-care means being mindful, being present, and setting yourself up for a more moments of joys, comfort, reminders to be present. You got this!
