Earlier this month, the prestigious Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Anvil Awards were presented in New York City. Finalists included Fortune 500 companies, international agencies, major nonprofits, government organizations, universities and more.

Hospice Source, in partnership with Thrive PR, is thrilled to announce that it WON a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence for our internal communication and employee engagement work! We are humbled by this recognition and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

Dame Cicely Saunders, born on this date in 1918, was the founder of the modern hospice movement and a pioneer in the industry.

Her legacy is still evident in hospital wards, care homes and hospices around the world and can best be summarized by one of her most famous quotes: “You matter because you are you, and you matter to the end of your life. We will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die.”

Their tireless efforts, empathy and attentiveness make a world of difference to the patients they serve and their families.
