Unlike the cookie-cutter Holiday Inns of the world, Stephenville’s Interstate Inn has stood out for decades with its one-of-a-kind sloped roof. It grabbed the attention of Dallasite Lisa Lennox and her sister Cathy Bonner, who had been on the lookout for a roadside motel in need of a glow-up. In January 2025, the siblings unveiled the revamped Interstate Inn, a 33-room boutique motel whose retro-luxe vibe would feel right at home in a Slim Aarons photo.
