Do I think that embracing traditional gender roles in relationships is on the rise?
No, I donāt.
I think there always has been, and probably always will be, people who want to have a more ātraditionalā relationship, but overall I think that style of relationship is becoming less and less common among women, and people in general, over 30 and 40.
Now what you want to do with your relationship is your business, but for those of us who arenāt interested in going down the more ātraditional,ā gender-normative route, Iām here to say that your desire to do so shouldnāt make you feel like youāre losing out on the opportunity to find loveā¦because you wonāt.
There will always be some subset of the population that wants to follow more traditional gender roles, and there will always be some who donāt; whatever dynamic you want to explore is ultimately up to you to decide, but never doubt that there will always be someone with similar values and beliefs who is willing and ready to take that next step with you, in whatever direction it may be.
Love comes in all shapes, sizes, and forms š«¶š½ and your right fit is out there excited to meet you just as you are āŗļø.
