The City of Culver City invites you to celebrate Juneteenth on Saturday, June 20, from 12 PM to 3 PM at Veterans Memorial Park.

In partnership with local artists, businesses, and organizations, this free, family-friendly event will bring the community together for a day of reflection, education, and celebration.

On June 6, SHARE!'s VPAN (Veteran Peer Access Network) Supervisorial District 2 team showed up for the community at Dads Day Out, a Fatherhood Community Day held at Stevenson Park in Carson, CA.

The event brought fathers, families, and community members together for basketball, chess, checkers, spades, BBQ, a live DJ, prizes, and more. A day of fun, fitness, and fellowship.

SHARE! VPAN team members Sandra and Michael hosted an informational table and connected with community members throughout the day. Michael even hit the court for a basketball game, bringing that spirit of camaraderie and connection to life in real time.

Events like Dads Day Out matter deeply to us. For many veterans, leaving the service means losing the built-in brotherhood and support that defined their daily lives. Community gatherings like this help rebuild that fellowship and reduce the loneliness and isolation so many veterans carry.
