RCP 19U Defeat Middletown Post 75 19u Behind Strong Performance From Tyler Bonelli.

Tyler Bonelli was dominant on the hill, as the hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in RCP 19U’s 12-2 victory over Middletown Post 75 19u. Bonelli allowed three hits and two runs over five innings while walking three.

Brody Reid collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Reid singled in the fourth inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

RCP 19U got on the board in the first inning after Chase Margiotta drew a walk, scoring one run.

RCP 19U added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Reid singled, scoring one run, Parker Wood singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

RCP 19U scored seven runs on seven hits in the top of the fourth inning. Margiotta singled, scoring one run, Ethan Wells singled, scoring two runs, Bonelli doubled, scoring two runs, and Reid singled, scoring two runs.

RCP 19U accumulated 13 hits in the game. Bonelli, Reid, Wood, and Wells each drove in two runs for RCP 19U. Nicholas Johnson collected two hits for RCP 19U in two at bats. Paul Cristalli paced RCP 19U with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.

RCP 19U Claim Victory Over Torrington P38 Legion 19U 6-1.

RCP 19U opened the scoring in the first after an error scored one run.

RCP 19U captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the fourth after Chase Margiotta doubled down the right field line, Tyler Bonelli walked.

Tyler Sandquist earned the win for RCP 19U. The starter surrendered five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five and walking three.

Brody Reid, Parker Wood, Margiotta, and Paul Cristalli each collected one hit for RCP 19U. Bonelli, Wood, and Margiotta each drove in one run for RCP 19U. RCP 19U had patience at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game. James Miano and Ethan Wells led the team with two bases on balls each. RCP 19U were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Wells had the most chances in the field with seven.

RCP 17U easily dispatched West Hartford Post 96 17U on Saturday at William H. Hall High School, 11-5.

RCP 17U got on the board in the first inning after Luca Faienza doubled, scoring one run.

RCP 17U scored five runs on three hits in the top of the second inning. Michael Casparino drew a walk, scoring one run, John Bozzi drew a walk, scoring one run, Robert Packer singled, scoring one run, and Tyler Roberts singled, scoring two runs.

Packer earned the win for RCP 17U. The pitcher surrendered four hits and five runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking four. Avi Carillo took the loss for West Hartford Post 96 17U. The starter went one and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs (five earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking three. Nathan Addy threw three innings of shutout ball for RCP 17U in relief. The reliever surrendered three hits, striking out none and walking one.

RCP 17U piled up 11 hits in the game. Addy, Faienza, Roberts, Ryan Carlstrom, and Packer each collected two hits for RCP 17U. Roberts and Packer each drove in three runs for RCP 17U.

RCP 19U defeated Post 68 Baseball 19U 8-0 on Friday at Rotary Pavilion Nevers Park as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Maddox Legendre and Aaron Ciarleglio each pitched for RCP 19U in the game. Legendre induced a fly out from Dylan Siriano to get the last out.

RCP 19U got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Chase Margiotta singled to center field, Ethan Wells singled down the right field line, James Miano walked, and Legendre was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.

A single by Wells extended the RCP 19U lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

Ciarleglio earned the win for RCP 19U. The starter gave up four hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two. Legendre tossed one inning of zero-run ball for RCP 19U in relief. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit, striking out none and walking one.

RCP 19U amassed 10 hits in the game. Wells provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led RCP 19U with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-4 on the day. Reid, Ciarleglio, Nicholas Johnson, and Wells each collected two hits for RCP 19U. Parker Wood stole two bases. RCP 19U stole five bases in the game.
