Ava 💗 Yesterday, Ava’s fundraiser goal for her surgery was met. It’s humbling that she’s “all ready” to go, at least a month ahead of her surgery. We are still waiting on the exact date but end of June/first of July. There are 3 surgeons involved so they all have to coordinate. Ava’s surgery was funded largely by small donations from over 1000 donors. 5, 10, 25, 50 dollars added up to say here, change her life. Giving Ava the gift of the surgery she needs to have a long and healthy life is incredible and you all did that for her. From Ava, her mother, and all of us, we extend a humble and gracious thank you, but it’s so much more than words. That thank you comes from deep down in my heart because Ava is truly a light in this world and she deserves this so much. She has no idea she’s different, but only that she’s been loved so much. Happy Angel Birthday to Army Night Stalker Shamus Goare who selflessly sacrificed his life during Operation Red Wings. Please help me honor him so that he is not forgotten.
