Dad’s mudboss was diggin last weekend!

All of Appodaca’s were busy this past weekend! Dad and Dillon had a good night of RC racing. Jesse also did pretty well for himself, starting pole in the heat he started good until a restart when the nerves got the better end of the deal. Started 15th in the Main and finished 9th, was up to 6th place at one point but fell back towards the end of the race!

First points race in the books, track was fast, cars were consistent, great night of racing!

Dad:
- Mudboss: 2nd Place
- Traxxas Mod: 2nd Place
- 13.5 Sprint: 6th Place

Dillon:
- Traxxas SuperStock: 3rd Place
- Losi Sprint: 2nd Place
- 13.5 Sprint: 8th Place

Dads’ cars were fast all night, from the first heats all the way to the features. Had a couple of mishaps in the 13.5 main that put dad behind but was steadily gaining the field! Mudboss and the Modified were on rails!

Dillon decided to opt out of the mudboss and Traxxas mod class. First night with the SuperStock and the 13.5! SuperStock worked better than anticipated and learned plenty on the 13.5. Started 5th in the 13.5 B-Main and finished 2nd. Advanced to start at the back of the A-Main and stayed there.

With 2025 done and gone, we’re excited to see what 2026 holds for us!

Lone Star Dirt Oval Series at 517 RC Motorplex last year. Dillon won the B-Main after a set of unfortunate heats earlier in the day. Came back to start 7th in the A feature, within 3 laps moving up to 2nd and staying put! Until a mistake was made coming out of turn 4 getting caught with another car, heading straight to the wall to pop off ballcups towards the end of the race 🙃 so close yet so far.

Last half of the A-Main, taking home 1st place! Not the fastest I’ve ran but it is the most consistent!

Dads 13.5 A-Main! Stayed consistent and finished 3rd!
