Winston The Corgi

Just dropped mom off at the airport and I’m not ok with this.

Excuse me mom... but do I smell bacon? I’m so cute and you should really share that...

Day 16 since surgery update. Winston has been home for a couple of days now and he’s is doing absolutely amazing! Seth and I are able to express his bladder easily. He is unfortunately still fighting his infection but it seems to slowly be doing better. He had to loose a bone from when he had the phantom pain and chewed his foot... but since the bone was removed, it’s healing nicely now! Our little guy is no longer in pain, happy to be home and enjoying the ridiculous amount of pets we are giving him. So now, we’re looking at keeping him resting and contained for the next 4 weeks to allow his bones to heal properly. We are still hoping that he will regain feeling and motor control but if he doesn’t, he’ll be on wheel in about 2 and a half month! We are so happy to no longer have to worry about “worst case” scenarios! He’s been such a strong pup and we are very proud. In the next couple of weeks, we will be throwing Winston a party with our friends at southern star so stay tuned! We love you all! Oh and Winston says woof!

This lil’ dude is in the middle of the kitchen napping. As long as he can see both of us at the same time, he’s happy. 🙂
