Retirement has been an unexpected journey for me.
When you work every day, your mind is busy with responsibilities, goals, and schedules. But when that suddenly stops, you realize how much space there is for your thoughts.

I have gone through many emotions while learning how to fill that space with peace and joy. It has been more challenging than I expected, but it has also become an opportunity to reconnect with myself.
Lately, I have started listening to Louise Hay again and returning to simple daily affirmations. One that I now say every morning is:

It reminds me that each new day is full of possibilities, healing, and beautiful moments waiting to unfold.

So this morning, as I sip my tea, I choose to believe that good things are ahead.
