In addition to our workshops, One House provides a hub a resources to our teens and families affected by divorce or separation.

If you are an individual or organization that provides goods or services to families dismantled by divorce and separation, we want to chat with you!

We seek to add additional service providers such as therapists, counselors, and mentors to our resource page.

One House is an emotional health platform providing live, interactive workshops for middle/high school-aged youth of divorced and separated parents. In addition, we offer a hub of resources through our various community partners to ensure broken homes are not a hindrance and secure the success of our next generation.

Founded in 2018, we were off to a great start partnering with schools, churches, and youth organizations in the Cincinnati, OH area to bring in-person workshops to their teens of divorced and separated parents. Just as One House began to build some momentum, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. And in an instance, all of our workshops were canceled.

With the pandemic building and a need for emotional support for teens and families of divorce and separation more prevalent than ever, we needed to do something to continue providing care for our families.

Today, more than 10 million teens from ages 11-19 have divorced or separated parents. The United States ranks #6 in the world for number of divorces. The question is: What happens to our children? Children of divorced and separated parents have higher su***de and depression rates. Aware of these statistics, we had to act fast and adapt to our new normal even with a pandemic looming over our heads. We remodeled our workshops by making them 100% virtual. We are now much more accessible and available to youth across the country.

This is where YOU come in. We need your help in recovering from the pandemic and getting the much-needed support back in front of our teens and their families. With the care of One House, we will see improved academic performance, greater confidence, strengthened social engagement, stronger families, and less loneliness in our teens.
