Final Third Foundation

At one of our school sites, we noticed something important - girls weren’t signing up for our after-school program.

So instead of accepting that, we listened.

We partnered with the principal to launch a girls-only soccer & literacy program - creating a space where they could feel confident, supported, and seen.

The result?
Smiles. Confidence. Teamwork.

So far, 8–9 girls are showing up consistently - holding their books proudly, building skills on the field, and growing together.

Sometimes access isn’t about offering a program.
It’s about creating the right environment for children to step into it.

It’s about who shows up.
Every day.
For every kid.

Ball at their feet.
Book in their hands.
Coach beside them.

That’s it. That’s the work.

F3 is excited to launch our Nutrition Program as a new addition to several of our afterschool Soccer and Literacy Programs! With the guidance of our amazing team, students are learning how nutritious foods can fuel their learning and play. This week, students enjoyed dried cherries, sweet peppers and pumpkin seeds. It was such a great experience!

As we close out the year, we want to say thank you.
