In real estate, we can get distracted by so many things. But, when you focus on certain things, your brain naturally wants you to have more of that thing...so when you focus on the good in life, you notice more good. Focus on the things that matter or that you want, and you'll get more of that.

In 2013, I stepped into being a real estate agent with confidence and big goals.

The first few years? Brutal.

Deals here and there. Enough to keep going, but not enough to feel established.

I questioned myself constantly. I wondered if I had made the wrong choice. I watched others succeed while I was still trying to figure it out.

But I made a promise:
I would not quit until I gave this five full years.

Year three, things slowly started to click.

By year four, my business skyrocketed. Awards. Recognition. Growth I once only imagined.

And it all happened because I didn’t quit in year two.

If you’re in your early years, struggling, doubting, grinding....this is your reminder:

You might be closer than you think.

Don’t give up before it clicks.

The real estate market in 2026 will reward a different agent.

Not the loudest.
Not the flashiest.
Not the one posting 3 times a day.

The agent who wins will have:
• Sharper sales conversations
• Stronger negotiation skills
• A dialed-in database strategy
• A personal brand built on trust
• Systems that create consistency

Lead generation matters.
But skill development matters more.

Content creates attention.
Conversations create contracts.

That gap is going to get expensive.

The next 12–18 months will separate:
