Wondering if occupational therapy is right for your kid? Here’s how I can help:

1. Trouble following directions – Whether it’s due to processing, self-regulation, or organizing a motor-response, we’ll work together to find a solution.

2. Struggles with movement – If they’re fidgety, slow, clumsy, or unaware of their body in space, we’ll figure out the cues they need to navigate their environment better.

3. Sloppy handwriting – Handwriting involves multiple skills. I address impeding factors like visual perception, fine motor, coordination, hand strength, and attention-to-task.

4. Difficulty with routines – If they’re struggling to finish daily tasks, we can break things down with visual aids, timers, and rewards.

5. Emotional challenges – I’ll help them identify, understand, and express their emotions in order for them to then manage them better.
