Energy is important to Ohio’s Economy.

Ohio Chamber President and CEO, Steve Stivers, speaks out about Governor Gretchen Whitmer's decision to drop her federal lawsuit trying to shut down line 5.

For the past decade, I have been honored to have your support as we’ve fought for pro-growth policies that benefit our communities and allow Ohio families to live the American Dream. After five terms in Congress, I’ve made the decision to continue that fight in a new capacity: effective May 16, I will be leaving the House and taking over as the President and CEO of Ohio Chamber of Commerce.

As someone born in the small town of Ripley, Ohio, who joined the Ohio Army National Guard in part to pay for my college education, to have had the opportunity to represent my fellow Ohioans in the halls of Congress is one of the biggest honors of my life.

Happy Easter! After a tumultuous year, the hope that this holiday represents is something that we all can take to heart. While our celebrations may still look different, I hope that you are able to connect with your loved ones, near and far, and that today brings you peace.

This year has not been without its challenges, but as we celebrate the holiday season, I hope you are able to spend some time reflecting on its blessings. Whether near or far, may this Christmas bring you the chance to connect with your loved ones and carry on your family traditions.

From our family to yours, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year.

This evening, many of our friends in the Jewish community will observe the Festival of Lights.

I would like to wish a wonderful and joy-filled Hanukkah to all those who will be celebrating. May faith and family continue to warm your hearts this holiday season.

Happy Hanukkah!

While our celebrations look very different this year, Thanksgiving reminds us all to focus on the blessings in our lives, even in times of uncertainty. I hope that you are able to safely connect with your friends and family this week.

Each year, my family recites the same prayer - it is a 40-year old tradition for the Stivers. It serves to remind me that to whom much is given, much is expected. Now, I wanted to share it with you, and it is included below. Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Election Day 2020. We have to make sure that our voices are heard, that every vote is counted, and that the results are respected. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom to defend the right to vote, and our electoral system makes me so proud to be an American.

If you haven't already, get out and vote! Polls are open until 7:30 PM.

Election Day is TOMORROW. There is a lot at stake - we need to make sure we have leaders who will support the kind of pro-growth policies that will help our communities rebound from this pandemic. Polls are open from 6:30 AM until 7:30 PM. If you haven’t already, get out and vote.

Happy Halloween! I hope you all have a great day safely celebrating, and if you haven’t already, make your plan to safely vote.  Republicans at the national, state, and local level need your support.

Long before hit, we knew that we needed to make health care more affordable for hard working Ohioans. Proud to have earned the endorsement of the Ohio State Medical Association, and I look forward to working with them to find common sense solutions.

Great to be with folks in Wilmington this week.  They understand the importance of fighting back against Medicare for All that would bankrupt the program on Day 1, and of stopping the Green New Deal from killing good-paying Ohio jobs. Five days to go!
