We know everything is hard right now—and we’d love to talk about how this work might help drive meaningful action. That is, we’d love to read (some or all of) this book with you!

Get POVERTY, BY AMERICA from the library, or from Bookshop.org or elsewhere online—then, if you can, join us in 3 weeks to chat about it! The link to RSVP is in our bio.

We’re so grateful to Sunny from Mega Food Mart and Anna from Primrose School in Upper Arlington—thanks to their generous donations of shelf-stable meals and snacks, drinks and treats, we were able to fill over a dozen Columbus Blessing Boxes over the weekend! 💚

(Reminder: NO PERISHABLE FOOD goes in these wooden boxes! Especially as the weather fluctuates, there’s no way to ensure something that needs to be refrigerated or frozen will stay at a safe temperature until it leaves the box. Save those goodies for a Community Fridges or Green Bexley fridge!)

Most of what we rescue each week falls very much into the perishable category—fruits and veg, dairy and meat, bagels and pastries. It was such a joy to share these nonperishable staples and goodies with neighbors all across Columbus. You rock, Sunny and Anna! Thanks so much for partnering with us to keep this food from going to waste.
