Did you know we have a book club? This is a great way to learn more about topics like urbanism, advocacy, transportation, and more!
Our current book is No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Gilded Age by Jane F. McAlevey. We'll be meeting to discuss it on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00 pm at the Columbus Main Library, Meeting Room 3B!
You can get the book a few different ways!
1) Borrow it! There are limited physical copies through the Central Library Consortium (all local libraries are a part of this). If you get it through there, please be nice and don’t hog it for too long, so others can access it.
2) An e-audio version is available with no wait via Hoopla app (accessible through certain libraries). There are also some e-book available through Libby app (also available through certain libraries).
3) Alternatively, you can purchase your own copy from Prologue Bookshop with a 20% discount. If you order online, use the code READTOGETHER1. If purchasing in person, mention that it’s for the TC Book Club and the cashier will apply the book club discount.

We'll be at Columbus Arts Festival! Come volunteer with us and raise $50 per shift you take on so we can build more benches, advocate for better transit, and partner with more organizations that enhance the quality of life for EVERYONE. This is a great way to support the organization if you have time, rather than money, for a direct donation.
You'll be serving drinks to people 21+ at Columbus Arts Fest and will be interacting with patrons throughout your shift.
To volunteer, you must be 21+ and attend a ninety-minute training happening on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:30 am, or on Thursday, May 28th at 6:30 pm.
Our friends at Simply Living will pay for bus fare to and from the event and training!
