YOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO

Alé Guanlao Sison, ISPH (they/them/siya), is a nonbinary first-generation Pilipinx Turtle Islander on a life-long journey of ancestral remembrance and mindful, embodied living.

They are a "Hilot Binabaylan", meaning that they are a life-long student of their Babaylan ancestors, and of their Filipino Indigenous Spirituality.

Alé is a yoga teacher, a breathworker, a multi-disciplinary creative, ritualist, intuitive healing guide, meditation + spiritual coach, dog lover, chronic illness/pain survivor, and a huge foodie. Astrologically, they are a 4/6 reflector, pisces sun, scorpio moon, and gemini rising.

They currently teach "Sacred Stillness" meditation class at Heartfelt Yoga Studio on Sundays 10-11AM.

It's $7 Sunday so for any one who's not a member & wants to drop-in, you can register.

"Hello Good People,

I am excited to share with you a awesome opportunity/surprising outcome from Julie Applegate and my work on the Jack’s/Summit Station documentary, 'Free Beer Tomorrow' () that she and I are producing. If you know anything about the two of us it is that we have an insatiable appetite for helping our communities as best we can. And we especially love to use the opportunities that are afforded us to create even more opportunities for thriving for the people we love.

This is a health initiative that has partnered with OSU researcher Joanne Patterson and her team to gather much needed information about the lives, specifically with regard to issues of health of le***an beings. I know I do not have to tell any of you about the lack of information we have that is specific to le***an health. Well, by the end of this study we will know more than we did!

The interview slots are limited so please won’t you accept my personal invitation to join this study, if we are looking for your input OR that you will share it with other folk that fit the target group.
