Congratulations to former teammate Ben Marquardt!! Way to go Ben!!

🚨 Benny is Back! 🚨
The Mavericks are proud to announce the re-signing of forward Ben Marquardt for the 2025-26 season. Marquardt will be back in green for a third season, and his second at the Junior level after advancing from the u16 Mavericks the year prior.

Head Coach and GM Joey Recktenwald is ecstatic to have Marquardt back this season, stating “Benny is an absolute DOG. He brought two gears to our team last season, hard and harder. He was pushing for PP time and top minutes on a team that shattered every offensive record in the organizations books, and the sky is the limit for him. I can’t wait to see him cook this year.”

Last week were our last home games... but this weekend is our last hurrah!!! The boys are off to Mentor, for the "Ice of March" Tournament! This is our final chance to play together as a team, and our final outing with EYHA for these 2008 players! Let's go out in style, boys!!!

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our 2008 players. Next year, these players will move on to junior hockey, 18U or high school, and will no longer be youth hockey players. We will miss these boys, and their contribution to our program. We also want to say thank you to all of our families who have supported our players over the years! We are all 💚💙🤍
