I’ve been quietly working on something that’s become very personal to me. And now it’s time to start sharing it.

Many of you know parts of my family’s story. My broken neck and paralysis - and my time in the wheelchair. The loss of our son Seth. My daughter’s battle with cancer. My wife’s battle with cancer. All the years coaching.

What you do not know is that I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my next book, The Realignment Game Plan, which I’m planning to release later this year.

This is more than another book. It’s an entire plan on how to find your gold after life breaks you. I’ve also created a keynote presentation that I’ll now be giving.

Realignment is a message about what happens when life knocks us out of balance…and how we can rebuild with purpose, become stronger through adversity, and find our way forward.

Realignment is designed as an experience, not just a speech. And I hope it changes the way people think about the storms in their own lives.

Over the next several months, I’m looking for a handful of founding audiences as I begin sharing Realignment throughout Ohio.

If you know a pastor, coach, school administrator, Rotary or Kiwanis leader, chamber director, nonprofit leader, or anyone who plans meetings and events, I’d truly appreciate an introduction—or if you’d simply share this post with them.

This is my way of introducing Realignment to the community and, hopefully, encouraging people who may be walking through storms of their own.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our family over the years. Your encouragement has helped make this next chapter possible.

Starting this fall, it’s time for me to step onto the stage and give back by sharing Realignment.

Because I’ve lost enough. And you’ve lost enough. Now…it’s time to win.

You don’t have to be ready. You just have to be willing. Take the swing. Make the call. Start the project. Walk into the room. Try again.

The people who change their lives aren’t always the most talented person on the field. They’re the ones who step in anyway.

It’s your turn. Swing away.
