This pin was created in collaboration with Merisa Bowers . Inspired by a sticker Merisa saw at Pride over 10 years ago, this design blends the iconic Ohio flag with the vibrant PRIDE stripes. Now, a decade later, Merisa — the first openly LGBTQ woman elected to office in Gahanna — has helped bring that vision to life.

As people who believe deeply in the importance of representation, we want young people to see that leaders in their communities value them. That we are building spaces where LGBTQ+ folks are seen, celebrated, and protected.
