Elko Blue - Calmity Days

I worked with a few others in education to create an album called “Calamity Days.” Titled so because we were using calamity days and remote teaching at the time.
The album was written and recorded during the COVID pandemic. We had been talking about doing this for years and being trapped at home made this the perfect opportunity to finally do it.

A little blurb left on bandcamp: “Why do I love this album? It’s dark and murky. Sort of shoegaze but doesn’t seem to rehash all of the typical preset effects ya the genre suffers a bit from. The back half of the album is really dreamy and weird.” - dead_things

This is the first of many updates on the upcoming Elko Blue project you will see in the coming months.

The album “Calamity Days” is finished. Masters are being exported and sent off to Chris Keffer at Magnetic North Studios sometime this week.
We are getting so close to having material to share with you all but we want to make sure it’s a finished and polished product.

It’s hard for us to be patient!! I hope you find the wait worth it.
