Since 1865, Juneteenth has been a day of celebration that commemorates the end of the United States’ historic practice of slavery. Today, Juneteenth is a day to recognize, support, and amplify Black culture, businesses, and communities throughout the nation. On Friday, June 17th, join us in kicking off Juneteenth weekend with an outdoor, boutique market, featuring more than twenty of central Ohio’s Black-owned businesses. A wide variety of goods will be available for purchase including handcrafted jewelry, health & wellness products, art, and authentic African clothing and accessories. Presented in partnership with the Central Ohio African American Chamber of Commerce.”
