When we are using the Enneagram as a map for personal and spiritual development, it helps so much to understand how we move UP the Levels. Years ago Richard Rohr’s staff invited me to write a short piece on development. That sparked my interest in looking at the Levels as true stages of development, working from the bottom up to address the developmental tasks that are characteristic of each level.
