Room2Breathe Project
Have you ever felt responsible for everyone else's happiness, problems, emotions, or decisions? Do you struggle with boundaries, people-pleasing, caregiving burnout, overthinking, or constantly trying to fix things for the people you love?
This week's Word of the Week is Enmeshment—a relationship dynamic where personal boundaries become blurred and love slowly turns into responsibility.
In this powerful episode, Shawnta "LifeCoach614" Hill explores how enmeshment shows up in parenting, grandparenting, caregiving, coaching, mentoring, friendships, marriage, and family relationships. Together, we'll unpack why so many helpers, healers, fixers, and caregivers find themselves emotionally exhausted from carrying burdens that were never theirs to hold.
If you've ever felt guilty for resting, struggled to say no, worked harder than the people you're helping, or believed your value comes from being needed, this conversation is for you.
You'll learn the difference between support and responsibility, healthy love versus unhealthy attachment, and why the powerful mindset shift of "Let Them, Let Me" may be the boundary your healing journey has been waiting for.
It's time to stop carrying everyone else's life and start creating space for your own.
Remember: You can love people deeply without losing yourself.
What do you do when life keeps life-ing, but you're trying to heal?
In this deeply personal episode of the Room2Breathe Podcast, LifeCoach614 opens up about grief, therapy, survival mode, emotional disconnection, self-discovery, and what it really means to heal while life is still happening.
Inspired by the powerful lines:
"Even if you are not ready for the day, it cannot always be night."
and
"Night is always darkest 'fore the dawn."
this conversation explores how trauma, loss, burnout, and years of survival can disconnect us from our emotions—and how healing often begins long before we feel ready.
LifeCoach614 shares her journey through grief after the loss of her mother, lessons learned in therapy, discovering emotional awareness, and the reality of choosing healing even when the storm hasn't passed.
If you've ever felt exhausted, overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, emotionally numb, or unsure how to move forward after loss, this episode is for you.
Remember:
You don't have to be fully healed to move forward.
The darkest hour isn't the end of the story.
It's often the chapter before the sun comes up.
You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. You've learned the language of healing. But what happens when awareness isn't enough?
In this powerful episode of the Room2Breathe Podcast, we're having an honest conversation about the difference between talking about healing and actually becoming healed.
Many of us know our triggers, understand our trauma responses, and can explain exactly why we do what we do. Yet we continue repeating the same patterns, tolerating the same behaviors, and abandoning ourselves in the same ways.
Why?
Because healing isn't measured by what you know. It's measured by what you practice.
Together, we'll explore why self-awareness is only the starting line, how trauma becomes familiar, why boundaries are identity work, and why true transformation requires consistent action—not just insight.
If you've ever felt like you're doing all the healing work but still feel stuck, this episode is for you.
Remember: You can't always talk your way out of trauma. Sometimes you have to become your way out.
 Breathe. Reflect. Grow.

Sometimes faith looks like praying in peace. Sometimes faith looks like fixing RV problems after dark, getting stopped by police, pushing through fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty… and STILL choosing to keep walking anyway.
Today I want to acknowledge Isaiah “MinisterZay” Thomas aka HmblZayy — not just for the miles, but for the mindset it takes to keep moving when the journey gets uncomfortable. A Philadelphia native currently walking across the country from Philly to California to raise money and awareness for children in underserved communities and his vision for HMBL University.
What people see is the walk. What they don’t always see is the mental weight, the resistance, the setbacks, the loneliness, the danger, and the moments where quitting would honestly feel easier.
But purpose keeps pushing him forward. “Four states down, four to go.” No matter what tried to shake the mission, God still covered them.
Big Faith still rolling.
Miles still pushing thru.
HmblZayy still trusting God, still covered, still inspiring.
Prayers up for continued protection, safe travels, provision, endurance, and peace over every mile ahead. And beyond the journey itself, gratitude for the way this mission is inspiring people to lead with more love, more compassion, more faith, and more humanity in a world that desperately needs it. Thank you for reminding people that purpose still matters, community still matters, and that putting God above everything else can still guide the path — even through uncertainty, setbacks, and hard nights. You are making room for all of us to breathe.
