My setup from the St Pete Jazz Festival playing with The Markus Gottschlich Trio and We had some good conversations on and off the stage. It's such a blessing to get to play with great musicians, to exchange and create ideas.

We opened The Wiz at The Straz tonight! This is such a fun show to play with amazing performers. Opening day is always a long day when a tour comes to town with the early morning load-in of the car at home, the drive, the load-in at the theatre for rehearsal, load-in to the pit then soundcheck. All of that followed by the show. It's definitely worth the work when the product is at this level and it's an Equity/Union gig and equity contract for the performers.
