Teaching here today, Friday @ Noon ✨ & in the Metuchen plaza tomorrow, Saturday @ 9am ☀️— I then won’t be teaching again until 7/28. Taking some time off to reset. It’s always needed. How often do you reset? How often do you listen when you need a little pause? Life is short, do it more often🤍

This picture speaks to me. Maybe it’s the colors. Or the place. Or the memory I have when it was taken. Maybe it’s my nail polish and I’m missing manicures more than ever. Idk. But it speaks to me.

A lot of photography strikes emotion for me. It brings me to a nostalgic place that I love to live within. It can be dangerous when trying to remain present because that moment is already gone. But it’s something about the capturing and the shaping that all the moments of our lives carve out for us as humans that really resonates with me. I have visions of doing something with it in my future.

It reminds me why I return to my mat. Every day. To keep shaping. To keep growing. To keep expanding and feeling and moving. Side crow is always an option when everything in real life feels uncertain. I had a really sh*tty state of mind the past few days. Yoga brought me back. As it always does.
