Julia L. Butterfield Bicentennial Celebration

Thank you for celebrating the Julia L. Butterfield Bicentennial with the Butterfield Library and Putnam History Museum! Our final celebration featured a Homestyle Bakery cake, Victorian crafts, a toast, and appearances by Julia and Daniel (thank you, Marianne Sutton & David Watson). Special thanks to Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg and Legislator Nancy Montgomery for their support of the library, museum, and the enrichment of women’s and local history!

⭐THIS FRIDAY!⭐ After the Butterfield Bicentennial Writing Contest Award Ceremony at 4 pm on Dec. 8th, join us for a guided stroll through history with a cup of hot chocolate! Along the stroll we’ll take in the beautiful Cold Spring Aglow and learn about the woman who brough us the Butterfield Library, Butterfield Hospital, and building associated with St. Mary’s Church.
