While operating Marine Rescue CDA, Captain Austin and Captain Tony also served as civilian employees supporting the U.S. Navy at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division – Acoustic Research Detachment.

By day, they supported critical maritime research and testing. Before and after work, and whenever the call came in, they were responding to boaters across North Idaho with towing, salvage, recoveries, and emergency marine assistance.

That commitment to serving people on the water has never changed. Whether supporting our nation’s maritime mission or helping a stranded family on Lake Coeur d’Alene, it’s always been about answering the call.
