Happy Swedish Mothers Day to my tough little mama. She has had a pretty sh*tty start of the year but with sisu and determination she is now slowly healing and walking thru life again and booked a ticket to Florida a few days ago 🙂 can’t wait to have my meatball Monday mommy, my happy hour homie, tequila sunrise bestie back in Jupiter!

Happy 15th gotcha day to my Ride or Die, my Lily girl, the world’s biggest Chihuahua. She shows me everyday that I’m her favorite person and I can’t wait to walk thru the door in 19 days and see her little wiggle butt. My amazing dog sitter has promised there will be celebration and I’ll barely make it off the plane in Florida before I’ll invite people over for my girls quincenera. Mommy loves you Lily. Be good to Bill and I’ll come home soon! ❤️ ❤️

You know summer is near when the request for potato salad appears… love love a vinegar based spud dish! This one was full of flavor thanks to tarragon and thyme :-)

The one thing I miss from home almost as much as my family is Swedish pic n mix candy. Nothing beats getting to pick a few of each of your favorites. As much as I’m grateful for every friend and family member bringing me pounds of the stuff. On my short visit to Sweden I had an almost non existent sweet tooth so I didn’t eat any and I brought the tiniest bag home. Of course I severely regretted that decision when I got home… but lucky me! Not just one but two Swedish candy stores have opened in south Florida in the span of a few weeks. So on my way home from Lily’s vet in Miami I stopped at Go Yummy in Boca and picked to my hearts content. And bought favorites for a few friends too. Sharing is caring after all! The store is run by people as sweet as the treats they sell! Highly recommend paying them a visit! Largest Swedish candy store in the USA! Goyummyusa.com

We are LOVING this cold front we have been blessed with for a few days. Being able to enjoy a sunset walk is the best part about fall! Finding out that Iv got an extra day off while on said walk was a welcome bonus!
