Today we remember and honor all those who selflessly served in the Vietnam War.

We encourage our community to take time today to honor the service of our Vietnam veterans by learning and sharing their stories.

Congratulations to Janet Petro, Acting NASA Administrator. She will be responsible for directing the agency, until a new administrator is confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

~ Janet Petro had been the 11th director of NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

~ Petro was selected by former Florida Governor Rick Scott for induction in the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame.

~ She was in the second class of U.S Military Academy at West Point to include women.

~ While serving in the Army, she was assigned to the U.S Army's Aviation Branch, where she piloted helicopters.
