Today, we honor, remember, and thank those who served and sacrificed for our wonderful country.

Did you know that Memorial Day originated in 1868, in the aftermath of the Civil War, and was originally called "Decoration Day"? Citizens would gather in the spring to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers, wreaths, and flags.

We wish everyone a meaningful and joyful Memorial Day!

Congratulations to Mayson Reeves, Henry Bond, and Karson Wardell for successfully completing the ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training at Itawamba Community College! Over the course of this 4-day program, they gained valuable knowledge on ISO 9001 requirements and learned how to properly perform internal audits to support quality management and continuous improvement.

Taylor Power is proud of these three for investing in their professional development and continuing the commitment to manufacturing exceptional products!

Throughout this week, Taylor Power Systems had the delight of hosting a class of students and faculty from the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence.

At the beginning of the week, The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss students were placed in groups and assigned to specific product manufacturing lines. The goal of each team was to identify issues in the manufacturing process and propose solutions for these problems. The students then presented their solutions to the Taylor Power management team.

The students' presentations were informative, well-planned, and expertly showcased. Wonderful job by all the students who participated.
