This young boy Prescott was left abandoned in a home to fend for himself. He is about 2 years old and we are still getting to know him. He is shy and needs patience to get to know you then there is no personal space. We do know he likes other dogs, loves playing fetch and hiking. He is a little overwhelming with cats so it would have to be a dog smart cat. We do know no chickens or ducks. He walks well on leash and loves to snuggle. We will keep you posted. Meet Prescott

Dogs only have their voice to express how they are feeling. When a dog is uncomfortable with something or someone they will growl, to say " hey I'm not comfortable right now". This is their only way to communicate and they have every right to!! If you punish a growl they learn to be silent......a silent dog is a dangerous dog. We want our dogs to express if they Don't like something. Have you ever heard the expression " he just bit out of nowhere!"???? Well if a dog has been punished for telling his humans what he doesn't like you just created a ticking time bomb. Unless you can read minds ...... please don't punish the growl 🙏
