Gardening is learning! Everyday I learn new things and ways to better my garden. For years my Montauk Daisy's ( WHICH I LOVE) would get supper leggy and sprawled before blooming. I recently learned that, you should cut back half in July to cause a more compact and more flower filled bush in the fall. I have to admit I am very scared to do this, but I gave it a shot( albeit only 1 of my 2 bushes) This is a trial run. So, September I am expecting a great bloom. Also I learned that you can cut and stick the stems in soil and they will root. So I am also trying this.
