Across Tennessee, our members show up no matter the hour, no matter the risk, committed to protecting life and property in their communities. This profession demands sacrifice, resilience, and a dedication that runs deeper than most will ever see.

As we mark this time, we ask you to keep our fallen in your thoughts, support those still on the line, and recognize the weight of what it means to serve.

One of our own recently suffered an unexpected medical emergency while out of town and is currently far from home. As many of you know, when one of our own is in need, we come together — and right now he and his family need our support.
Because the emergency happened away from home, the medical care and extended hospital stay are creating significant out-of-pocket expenses. The care provided was also an out of network provider. His family is also having to remain there for several weeks while he receives treatment and begins the road to recovery.
