Meet Sugar — quite possibly the easiest dog on the planet! Sugar is a low-key girl who has never met a rule she didn't follow. At night she curls up in bed with her people, finds her one spot, and doesn't budge till morning. During the day, she's just as easygoing — left home alone, she simply hops on the couch for a nap, no barking, no chewing, no mischief of any kind.

She's fully potty trained and even walks herself to the door when she needs to go out. Sugar is happy to be a couch potato, but she still lights up for a good walk or a squeaky toy. She's currently working on a few extra pounds, so her foster takes her on multiple short strolls a day — and she's always thrilled to go. Just don't expect her to keep up on a long hike or a run; lounging is more her speed.

She's friendly with strangers, plays well with the resident big dogs (when she feels like it — otherwise she's perfectly content entertaining herself with a toy), and is simply curious about the cats in the house, giving the occasional half-hearted chase before losing interest. She's especially wonderful with kids, having spent plenty of time around children ages 4 to 17 without a single issue.

On leash, she's a dream — no pulling, no lunging, just a calm, polite walking companion. She knows "sit" and "come," and she has the most endearing little habit: when she gets excited, she does the tiniest, cutest hop, and she'll nudge your hand with her nose any time she wants you to keep petting her (which, let's be honest, is always).

Sugar really is the whole package: gentle, easy, cuddly, and utterly drama-free.
