A little introduction about my New Zealand rabbits here at EZ Homestead๐Ÿ‡

I breed New Zealand rabbits, the only colors that are recognized by ARBA are the following, White, black, red, blue and broken in those colors.

I fell in love with the black tri color on rabbits over 10 years ago when I first seen a YouTube video by โ€œjrskick1โ€, gotta give credit where credit is due! Haha

So my goal was to breed the black tri variety into the New Zealand rabbits. I have been breeding rabbits for about 25 years now, in 2020 I purchased a purebred chocolate magpie harlequin buck, the breed harlequin!

I bred him to a red NZ doe.

I kept two babies, a buck and a doe.

I bred the buck to a red NZ doe , and the doe to a red NZ buck all unrelated to their mother.

I then took a buck from one litter and a doe from the other and bred them together

Took a buck and doe from that litter and bred together

Then kept a couple babies and bred either to eachother or to other nz, some where white, blue, some black, majority red and broken red.

I kept selecting the best kits in order to keep the size of the nz and the color of the tri.

Every rabbit I have now is a pure bred pedigreed New Zealand rabbit.
I have produced close to 1000 bunnies if not more to get my rabbits to the point they are at now.

Currently, I have finally met my goal for black tri, chocolate tri, blue fawn tri , chocolate harlequin, black harlequin, blue harlequin , lilac , chocolate, black ,blue, white, red and broken in those colors.
Letโ€™s also not forget every other color in between!

Please understand that any NZ purchased from me Carries multiple varieties in their background unless stated otherwise!

I have not been rehoming my New Zealand as often as I wanted to make sure my goal has been reached.

The success of my rabbitry relied on the hours upon hours upon hours of non stop dedication to this project.

I appreciate you taking the time in reading what I had to say if you have made it this far thank you! This post was made to educate my fellow rabbit breeders who constantly comment negatively about my rabbits, and question them as purebreds. Itโ€™s exhausting to constantly have to explain myself to fellow rabbit breeders, when they donโ€™t even want to take the time to ask me about my rabbits, they just want to state their opinion.

If you have any questions please feel free to message me before you comment your opinion as a fact๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I am now offering my New Zealand rabbits, fully pedigreed!
